Known as the ‘Gateway to the Isles’ Oban is a bustling port town on the scenic west coast. With a fishing heritage, and abundance of quality local restaurants and a pier-side stall serving fish and shellfish it is considered ‘Scotland’s Seafood Capital’. It’s also a great place for outdoor enthusiasts with everything from gentle circular trail walks to climbing one of the many Scottish ‘Munros’ (mountains over 3,000 feet).
