This world-famous “Harry Potter” Hogwarts Express route departing from Fort William features the breathtaking Glenfinnan Viaduct and offers stunning highland scenery towards Mallaig. On reaching the charming village of Fort Augustus learn about the engineering brilliance of the Caledonian Canal; a 60-mile route connecting the west coast to the North Sea. You may see a sailboat navigating some of routes’ 29 locks here. Next up its Loch Ness, a visit to the ancient ruins (but no less majestic) Urquhart Castle and a boat cruise to uncover the legend of ‘Nessie’. Arrive in the capital of the Highlands your home for tonight.
