Spectacular landscapes and stunning scenery await as you journey through the natural splendour of Glen Coe; Scotland’s most famous Glen. You won’t miss Buachaille Etive Mòr one of the best known and loved mountains with a long 5 mile (8 km) ridge and 4 stunning peaks. The highest peak Stob Dearg looks just like a pyramid. For those who love to hike there are plenty of walks including some of the ‘West Highland Way’.
A reconstruction of a traditional 17th-century turf and creel house brings you up close to what live would have been like in the glen. A meal in a historic pub adds the final touch if wished. (We can even get those with the surname ‘Campbell’ in. The story of that on tour!).
Just south of Glencoe is Rannoch Moor (a National Heritage Site) and considered one of the last remaining wildernesses in Europe. The upland peat moor stretches from the famous Kings House on the western side of Rannoch Moor down to Loch Rannoch and is known for its abundant wildlife.
