The Capital of the Highlands
Inverness is a compact city that’s perfectly easy to stroll through. The River Ness runs through the centre with the Ness Islands (a group of islands in the middle of the river) a popular destination for locals and visitors to walk among mature Scots pine. The St Andrew’s Episcopal Cathedral – noted as being the most northerly peal of change-ringing bells in a church in the world is a special place for some quiet time.
There’s plenty of quality restaurants, bars and general high street shopping in the city. There is often traditional/folk live music playing in some of the city centre bars in the evening.
The Eden Court Theatre is popular with local and international shows and we can book tickets for a show if wished.
And of course, if it’s a Kilt you’re looking to buy, you’ll not be surprised to learn that we know the perfect place!
